Went for a NYS inspection. Waited for 1.45 hour. Failed inspection because of a cracked driver side mirror. Which is not a problem easy fix. But here's the problem I have with your dealership. Guy comes to me says I failed and gives me an estimate of 425 dollar to fix it and expects me right there to set and appointment right there with a smile on my face. Yum screw you guys. Went on ebay auto and bought a replacement mirror for 21 dollars before i even left your waiting room. Came in the mail today. Took me 7 minutes to replace it myself. Yeah for 21 dollars. Compared to your 425 dollar estimate. Give me a break how crooked can you be??? I'll never again set foot in Ken Barrett the rest of my life. And yes I'm telling everyone I know about this experience. Very awful experience.

Over all was great . Very Happy with our salesman Eric . The only thing I have is there was a crusty substance on some of the steering wheel controls and the middle console , had to clean this when I got home .

This was by far the "Best Experience," I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. The thought of walking into a dealership quite frankly caused me major anxiety. I know what it's like to not be listened too; For my questions to be brushed aside and for my concerns to be diminished for the sake of a quick sale and for a "quota" to be met. (In short, my experience with a few past sales individuals, left me feeling like I survived "Shark infested waters!" But; When my Daughter, my Mother, and myself walked into Ken Barrett Chevrolet it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Josh, "Big Time Josh," as he was rightfully nicknamed !!! Answered all of our questions, he was patient, kind, understanding. when it came to safety concerns, and how to set up "all the fancy," electronic stuff...(That quite frankly, make me very uncomfortable) He did not just say to me, "Read the manual." He took the time to explain everything and show me how to navigate the system in my new Chevy Equinox!!! Which, by the way.. is my first, brand, new. Car ever!!! :) Josh went above and beyond,! He will meet you where you need to be met at during the car buying process. Not once was he pushy, but genuinely wants all your vehicle meds met. Humble, kind. Genuine!!!(I could go on and on. I will forever buy my vehicles at Ken Barrett Chevrolet in Batavia New! (Well, as long as Josh is the salesperson there!) :) Thank you with my whole heart, for everything you did for my Daughter and myself. She is the LOVE OF MY LIFE, ALONG WITH HER TWO OLDER BROTHERS!! It takes a long time to complete Corvette service. That being said, it is worth it! Megan in service shuttled me off to my destination for the next five hours. Megan picked me up when service was done. Had a great day and drove home in the sunshine. I drive about fifty minutes to Batavia because I receive great service, friendly staff and excellent handling of my vehicle. Ken Barrett is worth the long drive. I have dealt with seven other local dealerships and feel like Ken Barrett is #1.

I was upfront and clear with why my vehicle was in your shop when I made the appointment, but whoever made the appointment made the appointment for other things than what I said, plus there is something causing a lack of power and weird shifting and your professional shop couldn’t tell me what would be causing it. I paid a hundred dollars for a diagnostic to be done just to be told there’s nothing going on when I know there is. Just another shop treating their customers like idiots

It was a standard NYS inspection not a lot of feedback

It was very pleasurable experience

I scheduled this appointment several weeks in advance for an oil change and new tires, which were selected online prior to scheduling the appointment. I received a confirmation email for the appointment that included the tires that I selected. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was first told that my service would take 5.5-6 hours, which is completely ridiculous for the services I was having done. When I scheduled the appointment, I indictated I would be waiting for my vehicle. After being there for around a half hour, I was informed that that the tires were not in stock and would take nearly two hours to acquire. I then questioned why they did not have them when I scheduled this appointment well in advance. I was then told that I could not order the tires online and should have contacted the parts department separately. I showed the confirmation email that I had received that showed the tires that I had selected. No one could explain how this happened and I was told that they would have to look into changing the website so this didn't happen again in the future. I did receive my oil change, which was provided free of charge.

Very thing was good. First oil change, tire rotation, and routine maintenance on a 2024 Blazer.

This is the second time Eric sold me a car. He is an excellent sales person this is why I came back to Ken Barrett.

Megan had Joe in service ride with me to locate a persistent rattle. Upon returning to the shop Joe found something in the rear drivers side lower control arm. Somehow in our travels a5/8 inch Clevis pin bounced off the road into a 1 inch hole in the control arm. Rattle gone and one very happy customer. My compliments to Megan and her team in service.

Really night we have a handicap truck. They took really good care of us knowing that my husband is disabled and we are very dependent on it .

You’ve had a change of front service desk personnel and they are not friendly or customer friendly. They are rude and snotty Your price gauging is ridiculous especially from a customer who’s been loyal for years with you (and my parents and sister also). We’ve always done all of our business with Ken Barrett’s but we are seriously reconsidering in the very near future. I will definitely be taking my car elsewhere for maintenance

I had a appointment at 8am for oil change and tire rotation. I was not done until a little after 10am. It just took forever but the gentleman were pleasant.

Joshua Caryl was excellent as usual. This is the fourth vehicle we have purchased from Ken Barrett Chevrolet, and we used Joshua all four times. He knows the product and never pressured us. A pleasure doing business with him.

My concerns were addressed immediately and as soon as the problem was verified and the parts were in stock, my car was fixed and is now perfect. I really like the "small town" atmosphere of Ken Barrett and have always been treated very well. I live about 30 miles from the dealership, and would never go anywhere else.

My Daughters Chevy Trax engine fan kept running. It would have drained the new battery that I just replaced. I stop by at the end of the day and Megan and her service team tried to help me out without an appointment. They ended up getting it in the next day and got the repair done. I would highly recommend the service department at Ken Barrett’s.

There is a noise issue emanating from the transmission on my new Equinox. It is sporadic and service couldn’t duplicate it. Needed it documented.

Told them exactly what was wrong with my car… got a call at the end of the day and they said they figured out what was wrong(which was exactly what I said was wrong) but didn’t have time to fix it that day? Had to bring it back a week later, then got a phone call asking what was wrong with it again.

Hi, The service dept couldn't fix my problem. The problem lights up on the dashboard as fix ESC along with other writeups. Chevy can't fix the problem because the computers they are using must be old ones that can't link with a 2025 Blazer. This light up has come on many times a problem for a new auto. GM has to fix this type of issue.

Made an afternoon appointment over the phone for an inspection. I dropped the vehicle off in the morning and went home. The service manager called later that afternoon to tell me that the vehicle was ready to be picked up. Can't ask for better service than that!

My experience was good I just wish they would process the vehicle when it's all done and it sat there for like good 10-15 minutes before the lady came in and got me

My vehicle is a complete mess from the technician's dirty boots, the door handle/arm rest is gouged/cut into the plastic and there was debris everywhere unlike how I dropped it off. Probably will find a new place to have my maintenance done at now.

Id like to say there repair work was fantastic they quoted 5 days and got it done in 5 days. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of communication. They ordered my parts told me around when they would come in cool. From the 13th to the 19th of last month. Weeks went by with nothing being said or communicated about them being delayed finally after over 3 weeks they called said my parts were in and it was ready to be fixed. They do great work just a little better communication and it would be 5 stars all day.

The staff are friendly and the waiting is nice. They are people we have come to trust. We left another dealership because they couldn't be trusted and are very happy with the service we get here. Thank you!!

I arrived a few minutes after opening to drop my car off in the morning as requested and the store was not open. After a few minutes I started filling out the drop off envelop for after hours. We left about 10 mins after opening and it still was not open. I could not wait an unknown amount of time as I had to get the person I borrowed a car from back to their home and my daughter to a doctor’s appointment. Despite making the appointment 8 days prior, I had received no communication and phone asking for info around 2pm stating clearly I would soon not be available to take a phone call. All I got was “uh, let me check something. Uh I got to check something. Uh, can I call you back in a few minutes.” Over an hour later, I still had not received a phone call. I was not available so my husband did call. Diagnostic had been done at that point but not a final cost estimate. The person said he would phone him back. Which he did. He also said my vehicle would be done Friday (this was Tuesday) which my husband did say would not work. The following afternoon my husband got a call that my vehicle was done (clearly not needing multiple days) and that the total was about $260 more than the estimate. The only difference was an oil change and he was told labor and tax were included in the previous days estimate. When I brought up the fact I was not called, the associate claimed my husband said to call him about the car, which my husband said he did not tell him and I believe because frankly he knows I would not want that. There were multiple frustrations with this service and I did voice them when collecting my vehicle. The (I’m assuming) manager did state the associate was fairly new and learning. She did more than she needed to and I said she didn’t need to make any adjustments, I just wanted to know where the discrepancy was coming from. I can understand mixups, or being behind, people not showing up for work, but I can’t tolerate not being given correct or any information. Especially when it is regarding something like my car.

Eric Gordon was the best. Answered every question; made the leasing process relatively easy; willing to see me if I have a question about the complex set of controls and capabilities of my Equinox.

Easy in and out for oil change and tire rotation. Kind and responsive staff.

A job well done, I can't tell where the damage was. The paint matches very well with the rest of the car.
